Mission Statement
Prevention of crime is the basic mission of police. Police attempt this goal these ways: prevention, deterrence, and apprehension of offenders with the gathering of evidence.
Police alone cannot prevent crime. True prevention of crime involves all citizens. Police cannot take over the parent's role, the ministers' job, and the schools role.
