The first strategy of the 2008 Downtown Plan was to enhance the image
of downtown.Like many other areas of
town, continual improvement and maintenance projects are needed to accomplish
this.Recent and planned projects include:
Reconstruction of another public parking lot in 2014.
Public parking lot sign at 1 - 2 parking lots in 2014.
Downtown Public Parking lots are typically cleaned early Wednesday
mornings.
As revenue increases in the City's parking fund other projects may
include:
Identifying a schedule to improve more public parking lots.
Continuing identification of downtown public parking lots (signage).
Continuing phased installation of on-street parking meters.
Installing public parking lot signage throughout the downtown and at
each public parking lot.
