You can request a copy of a report in person during business hours at 702 1st Ave. S., Fort Dodge, IA 50501. Alternatively, you can mail in your request. There is a $5.00 charge for copies of reports.
The Fort Dodge Police Department can only provide a local arrest history. These can be requested in person during business hours at 702 1st Ave. S., Fort Dodge, IA 50501. Alternatively, you can mail in your request. There is a $15.00 charge for this service.

Submit your application and resume to the City of Fort Dodge Human Resources Department. Candidates who are not currently Iowa certified law enforcement officers will take a physical agility test administered by the City of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Civil Service Commission. For those passing the physical agility test, a written Police Officer Selection Test (POST) will be given immediately afterwards.
