Below information regarding submission of oversize or overweight load permit applications within the corporate limits of Fort Dodge, Iowa:
Please fill out this form and submit it to the City Engineer's Office for approval.
This form can be submitted by email (engineering@fortdodgeiowa.org).
There is currently no fee for this permit.
Upon receipt, the engineer will review your information and route.
When your application is approved, a signed copy of your application will be returned to you.
Please allow 48 hours for processing.

If the planned route includes Kenyon Road and/or 2nd Ave S bridge over the Des Moines River, hauler must obtain a permit from the Iowa DOT Motor Carrier Services. Please call 515.237.3268 or omcs@iowadot.us.
