Youth IPRA Placekick, Punt and Throw Football Competition
The
Iowa Park and Recreation Association and the FD Parks and Recreation
Department are sponsoring a Youth Football Placekick, Punt and Throw
Competition. The IPRA Placekick, Punt and Throw football event
has six age categories for the competition: Boys and girls ages 8, 9,
10, 11, 12 and 13. Youth will placekick from a tee, punt and pass
the football for both distance and accuracy. The best score of
two attempts in each event are totaled for the overall score.
Boys and girls will compete separately and the top 3 participants in
each age category advance to the District Competition to be held in
Sioux City on Saturday, October 13. For more information about
