The Webster County Cultural Diversity Team and Upper Des Moines Opportunity invite everyone in the Fort Dodge community to join us for this family-friendly, neighborhood-strengthening event. National Night Out is designed to create safer and stronger communities by connecting community members, meeting our public safety service providers, and by informing how everyone can help make our neighborhoods stronger and safer in a fun, free and relaxed environment. The Back to School Bash program offers backpacks and school supplies to over 750 local students.The 5th Annual National Night Out/Back to School Bash will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd from 6 - 8 pm at the Corpus Christi Church parking area, 408 N. 8th St in Fort Dodge.
This year's event promises to be better than ever. There will be fun and educational games and activities, free food and drinks, music, drug dog demonstrations, and a big drawing at the end of the event for dozens of fun and useful prizes, including bicycles and helmets, skateboards and accessories, weather radios, toys, and loads more.
This event gives the residents of Fort Dodge a unique opportunity to stand together against crime and show our support for a strong and positive community. Please help spread the word at your place of work, church or school; telling your friends, co-workers and family; and joining us Tuesday, August 3rd. Hope to see you all there!
