Fort Dodge's Eighth Annual

Oakland Cemetery Walk

 

Fort Dodge's Eighth Annual Oakland Cemetery Walk will be held Saturday, June 12^th , with a special indoor presentation on June 13^th. On Saturday, guided tours begin every 10 minutes, from 1:00 - 3:00. Cars are not allowed in the cemetery during the tour - parking and shuttles are available at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 1436 21^st Ave. North. Shuttles are provided by ICCC busses. 

 

Sunday's indoor performance will take place at the ICCC Bio-Sciences/health Auditorium, with one performance beginning at 3:00. Admission on either day is $7 per person with children under 10 admitted free. Proceeds are used for Cemetery preservation.

 

During the 80-minute tour/performance meet 8 historic, costumed "characters" as portrayed by CHERYL SHERRY, BRAD LUKE, JESSE HELLING, KEVIN ROGERS, JOHN METIER, BARBARA WALLACE HUGHES, SUSAN AHLERS LEMAN AND ETHAN LEDEBOER.
