Event Description:

Drawing is fundamental to every art form. Drawing and design skills are useful for all kinds of projects, from illustrating a story for a school assignment, working out ideas for painting a picture, or designing something to make from another kind of material. We will explore contour drawing, shading and value, creating the illusion of texture, using pattern, and look at a few ways to create the illusion of depth.

These classes are designed for children age 9 and older. The class fee includes all materials and a snack. Each class will be a self-contained lesson, but students may wish to sign up for more than one session in order to build their skills.

Fee:  $12 per session for members, $15 for non-members
