Summer Art Camp "My Personal Hero"

Four-Day Art Camp for Children Ages 7-9

Instructor: Jon Grice

For children ages 7 through 9

Dates: Tuesday, June 12th; Wednesday, June 13th; Thursday, June 14th & Friday, June 15th

Times: Class will meet 10 AM to Noon all four days

What would your own personal super hero look like? What special abilities would he or she need that would be really important - so they could zoom in, be your special helper, and save the day? You just might have to think about that a little bit! Inventing your personal super hero is just one of several projects that will challenge your imagination and creativity in Jon Grice's art camp. Additionally, you will learn about Native American cultures as you explore their connection to birds and use these new ideas to design a mask. You will learn about taking your inspiration from nature as artists often do, and explore your ideas in color. All art materials and a snack are included. Maximum enrollment, ten students.
