Really immerse yourself in the world of soft pastel with artist Diane Blair Kunzler during this fall workshop that covers two full Saturdays. Diane's teaching style is as masterful as it is fun and informative; the result of many years' experience as an instructor. Participants may bring photographs or other subject references if they desire, or materials will be provided. A supply list and suggestions for reference materials will be provided to registrants as requested.
This workshop will be held on Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, November 3. Please note that the two days for this class are scheduled two weeks apart. Bring your own pastels if you have them. Paper will be available for purchase directly from the instructor. Please bring cash for your paper purchases. A microwave and refrigerator are available at the museum if you wish to bring a brown bag lunch. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants.
Credit Option: Art teachers may take this class for one license renewal credit. Credit students will have two fees - one paid directly to the Blanden for the cost of the class, and a second fee to Prairie Lakes Education Agency for the credit. 15 hours of class contact time - 7½ hours each Saturday - are required for students earning credit.
Step 1: Students desiring credit must first register by paying their fee with the Blanden to secure their seat in the class, as space is limited.
Step 2: Credit students must also register independently with Prairie Lakes Education Agency to pay for the credit.
