Artist and instructor Sara Cook has developed and perfected construction techniques for her fashionable jewelry creations, and will be joining us to teach this intriguing one-day adult workshop on Saturday, November 10th.
During this class you will learn the basics of wire wrapping embellished with beads and how to make your own beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Sara will demonstrate different ways to use the wire wrapping techniques and share some insider tips on making it right the first time. You will learn about the needed tools, materials, and resources - all while you gain experience as you make your own wire wrapped necklace and earrings to take home with you that very day.
All materials are included in the fee, and the museum has the necessary tools which students may use during class. A microwave and refrigerator are available if you wish to bring a snack or brown bag lunch for the lunch break. Sign up early - there are just 10 spots in this class!
