The practice of drawing encompasses many different skills that come into play while making preliminary sketches, exploring ideas, and in the development of drawings intended to stand alone as finished works of art. Learning to observe closely and see one's surroundings accurately is key to creating effective drawings. During this one-day adult workshop we will concentrate on the very basic element of art - Line. We will be looking for the use of line in works on exhibit in the galleries, and practice drawing techniques that will assist participants in the development of their own drawing skills and help to develop an awareness of the way artists describe their world with line. Enrollment is limited to 10.
