Safety Village
A week-long camp for children who have completed kindergarten and first grade this school year. The camp will focus on having fun while teaching safety and prevention.
Here are some of the fun things they will do:
· Bike Rodeo - campers will ride their bikes through an agility course and a mock town
· Learning when and how to call 911
· Experience the FD Fire Department Smoke House
· Special personal look at Fire Truck, Police Car and Ambulance
· Learn about fire and burn prevention, railroad, gun and poison safety.
· Snacks and craft activities will be provided. Also, each participant will receive a Safety Village Camp T- shirt.
The campers will be taught by Fort Dodge Fire and Police personnel, Iowa State Troopers and trained professionals.
Camp runs June 10-14 from 9am to 11am at Duncombe School Fort Dodge.
