Blanden Art Museum

Smeltzer House Art Collection Tours

Tour the Art Collection Housed in this Historic Home

          During this visit to the historic Smeltzer house, the emphasis will be on the artwork that Ann Smeltzer collected as well as work that she created herself.  There were a number of artists she admired and who were her instructors, heavily influencing the development of her own artwork, including Jacques Lipchitz, Hans Hofmann and Henri Matisse.

          The Smeltzer Art Tours will be led by Laurel Mors or Judy Payne.  Tour groups are limited to 10 individuals who have registered and paid at the Blanden Art Museum. 

Tours will last approximately one hour.  Tickets for the Smeltzer Art Tours can be purchased in advance at the Blanden Art Museum, open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am - 5pm. 

Dates and tour start times are listed below.  Tickets are $8 per person.  Individuals with tickets should be at the northeast porch entrance of the Smeltzer home by 10am of the tour date.
