City of Fort Dodge, Iowa

• FD Parks & Recreation hosts 2 state high school championship events, a National Junior College Cross Country meet, and a one-of-kind car cruise show.  These events alone bring in 45,000 people to Fort Dodge each year; creating over $5,000,000 in economic impact to the area.
  
• The Harlan & Hazel Rogers Sports Complex hosts tournaments and league play for softball, baseball, and soccer throughout the spring, summer, and fall months.
  
• The historic Oleson Park Band Shell, built as a WPA project in the 1930's, is one of FD Parks & Recreation's most unique features.  This beautifully built structure plays host every summer to the Karl King Municipal Band and a variety of other concerts.
