Beginning tomorrow morning, the eastbound lanes of the 2800-2900 blocks of 5th Avenue South will be closed to allow for an emergency private sewer repair. During the closure, traffic will be reduced to two lanes, with both directions of travel shifting to the westbound lanes. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, use caution, and follow all posted signage through the work zone.
The repair is expected to be completed and the road reopened by Saturday, weather permitting. The City appreciates the public's patience and understanding as we work to support this critical repair.Beginning tomorrow morning, the eastbound lanes of the 2800-2900 blocks of 5th Avenue South will be closed to allow for an emergency private sewer repair.
