Leaf it to us to say... don't let your leaves take over the street!
As those colorful fall leaves start to flutter down, here are some do's and don'ts for leaf season in Fort Dodge:
DO mulch or compost your leaves - your yard (and the planet!) will thank you.
DO bag them up for yard waste collection or take them to the compost site.
DON'T rake or blow leaves into the street - it clogs storm drains and causes flooding. Nobody wants a soggy surprise!
And of course... DO jump in a pile or two first. Because fall fun is mandatory!
Got a great leaf pile photo? Share it in the comments - we'd love to see how you're making the most of fall in Fort Dodge! Leaf it to us to say... don't let your leaves take over the street!
