Registration Form

If you own a property that you know is not registered with the City, please fill out the registration form and return it to the Rental Housing Inspection Office at the following address:

What is considered a rental unit?

As defined in Ordinance No. 2102, "the term 'rental unit' shall be any dwelling unit not occupied by a record titleholder." 

This definition simply means that if the property is occupied by someone whose name is not on the property records, which have

been recorded with the Webster County Recorder, the unit is considered a rental property and must be registered and inspected per Ordinance No. 2079, this includes family members.
