January 2021 Open Enrollment

The following benefits are eligible for enrollment for a January 1, 2021 effective date. COMPLETED PAPERWORK IS DUE TO HUMAN RESOURCES BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2020.

Flex Spending

A health flexible spending account (FSA) is part of your benefits package. This plan lets you use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses for you, your spouse, and your eligible dependents.

Here’s how an FSA works: Money is set aside from your paycheck before taxes are taken out. You can then use your pre-tax FSA dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses throughout the plan year. You save money on expenses you’re already paying for, like doctors’ office visits, prescription drugs, and much more.

Health Savings Account

A Health Savings Account, or HSA, is a unique, tax-advantaged account that can be used to pay for current or future healthcare expenses. When combined with a high-deductible health plan, it offers savings and tax advantages that a traditional health plan can't duplicate. With an HSA, members will have a tax-advantaged savings account that they can use to pay for eligible medical expenses as well as deductibles, co-insurance, prescriptions, vision expenses and dental care.

ALL EMPLOYEES ENROLLED IN THE HDHP ARE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE A HSA ENROLLMENT FORM REGARDLESS OF CONTRIBUTION LEVEL.
