Recycling

Recyclables are picked up curbside every other Wednesday, alternating by east or west of 15th Street.
Paper Products: Newsprint, magazines, junk mail, cereal boxes, shiny inserts, paper egg cartons, twelve pack cartons, and paperback books.  No waxy cardboard such as milk cartons.
Glass: Clear containers only.  Rinse out and remove lids; labels do not need to be removed.  No window glass or light bulbs.
Plastic: Rinse out and remove labels.  Jars do not need to be flattened.  Painted labels are acceptable. Plastic grocery bags are accepted but do not use them to bag up other recycled items. Please combine multiple plastic grocery bags together in one bag.
Metal Cans: Rinse out and remove labels.  Cans do not need to be flattened.  Painted labels are acceptable.
Aluminum: Foil, pie plates, etc. Need to be clean and placed with metal cans.
Corrugated: Clean with no wax coating.  Cardboard should be cut in 3' x 3' pieces, bundled and tied.
Recyclables should be co-mingled into your roll out cart that has the blue lid.

Recycling Route - East

For those east of 15th Street and excluding Orchard Glen,

Rolling Hills, 170th Street, and the area

from the CNRR tracks south to Patterson Field Road

 

Recycling Route - West

For those west of 15th Street and including Orchard Glen,

Rolling Hills, 170th Street, and the area

from the CNRR tracks south to Patterson Field Road
